NEMA South West Zonal Office in collaboration with Ogun SEMA and officials of the Local Government conducted an on-the-spot assessment of Fire disaster in Lafenwa Market in Abeokuta North Local government Area of Ogun State today Tuesday 6th February 2024. The disaster was reported to have happened on Monday 5th February 2024. The assessment revealed that properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed, Ninety (90) Shops were affected while many households and means of livelihood had been affected.
