No fewer than 1000 people received Federal Government’s relief support following a flood disaster in Zaria Local Government Area, Kaduna.
The Zonal Coordinator, Imam Garki Abbani led other staff of the agency for the direct distribution exercise which consists of food and non items
Present during the distribution exercise among the targeted beneficiaries which was held in Zaria, are the representative to the Honourable Speaker, Federal House of Representative, Tajuddeen Abbas, Director, Relief KADSEMA, the Deputy Chairman, Zaria Local Government and other delegated government authorities.
The relief materials distributed comprises of 1,000 bags each of Rice and Maize, 80 bags of salt, 100 cartons each of Spaghetti, Vegetable Oil, Seasoning Cubes and Tomatoes Paste.
Others are Plastics Buckets, Packets of Zinc Naiils, bags of 3″” nails, 600 bags of Cement, bails of Men, Women and Children’s wears.
Other items distributed include 300 Bundles of Roofing Sheet, 500 pieces each of Wax Prints, Guinea Brocades. 400 pcs of cooking pots
400 pieces each of cooking stoves and pots.
The honourable speaker, federal house of representatives appreciated NEMA and the Director General for the agency’s timely response to cushion the plight of the affected persons.
