
National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed relief materials to the 2024 flood-affected populations in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area (LGA), Edo State.
Representing the Director-General, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, Mr. Kenoma Ojuederie, alongside Joseph Akpofabe, the Head of Relief and Rehabilitation, expressed the sympathy of the Director General over the disaster’s impact on the communities. Akpofabe, an Assistant Chief Relief and Rehabilitation Officer, emphasized the federal government’s continued support to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the flood disaster.
In response to the assistance, Mrs. Rose Makayu, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her gratitude, thanking the federal government and NEMA’s Director-General for the relief materials provided to help the affected families.
