The Director General National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mustapha Habib Ahmed received Ms Lingling Duan, the Managing Director of Beijing Global Safety Technology Co Ltd Nigeria, a High-Tech Safety organisation for social and emergency management. The organisation is linked to Tsinghua University, China.
Ms Duan, during the meeting with the Director General, spoke about a proposal by her organisation to partner with NEMA in the areas of deploying modern technologies to strengthen flood disaster management in Nigeria.
Responding, the DG NEMA appreciated the interest by the organisation to support flood management in the country.
