Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mrs. Zubaida Umar, on Thursday held an interactive meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Compliance, chaired by Hon. Ahmed Yusuf Badau.
The meeting, convened by the Committee, offered a platform for discussions on NEMA’s adherence to resolutions of the House Representatives. During the session, NEMA provided satisfactory, evidence-based responses, leading the Committee members to commend the Agency for its efficiency and transparency in resource utilization.
The meeting was chaired by the Committee chairman, Hon Ahmed Yusuf Badau and attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Maureen Chinwe Gwacham, alongside other members. Mrs. Zubaida Umar was accompanied by relevant members of NEMA’s management, including the Director of Relief and Rehabilitation, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu Usur, the Acting Director of Finance and Accounts Alhaji Aminu Boyi Ringim, Special Assistant to the DG Mr Idris Abubakar Mohammed and Technical Assistant to the DG, Hajiya Rakiya Bello Umar.
