An Assessment Team from NEMA Sokoto Operations Office went round communities affected by a fire incident in Wamako and Silame Local Government Areas of Sokoto State. The team conducted on-the-spot Assessment to ascertain the magnitude of damage suffered by the over 200 households affected.
Some members of the communities were displaced due to the incident and now taking refuge in the host communities.
Items destroyed by the fire incident include farm produce, beverages, equipment, furnitures, clothings and household appliances worth millions of naira.
