NEMA and the World Bank conducted an Emergency Preparedness & Response/ Lesson Learnt Exercise Meeting in Asaba, Delta State, focused on the 2022 flood. The World Bank Team, led by Nkem Joseph Palmer and Alh. Alhassan Nuhu, engaged in an interactive session using questionnaires to gather insights from community representatives. The aim was to enhance future response strategies, with the Head of Operations emphasizing the importance of accurate information. Executive Secretary Karo Ovemeso expressed gratitude for choosing Delta State and encouraged participants to share gathered information with their communities.
