Direct distribution exercise at Okobaba Sawmill, Ebute Metta for persons affected by fire disaster took place today Friday 2nd December 2022.
The Lagos Territorial Office officials were on ground to conduct the distribution along with the representatives of the Sawmill traders, Traditional rulers institution of the community.
The affected plank sellers were full of gratitude to the Federal Government for coming to their aid as measures towards building the State Government’s newly allocated site at Agbowa Town along Ijebu Ode-Ikorodu road after losses.
The traders were ordered to evacuate the market which had experienced several fire outbreaks many times annually to a more suitable place at Agbowa.
The Union expressed profound gratitude at the time of receiving the materials, claiming that the building materials would be used for construction of the new site
