National Emergency Management Agency North Central Zone Jos, Plateau state Emergency Management and other NGOs conducted a three day Multi Sectoral assessment in 5 LGAs of Plateau state affected by violent conflict on the 22nd -24th of June 2023.
NEMA, SEMA in collaboration with NADA, Nigeria Society of Red cross and other NGOs in Jos conducted a multi – sectoral assessment in 5 LGAs (Mangu, Bassa, Barkin-ladi, Bokkos and Riyom).
The exercise started with 2 days training of 30 enumerator from both governmental and non- governmental organizations on the data collection and processesing.
The multi sectoral assessment was carried out to achieve the goal of a quality and standard data base in conformity with international best practice in Plateau by all sector of humanitarian actor’s.
The Quantitative and Qualitative approach system of data collection adopted with the use of Focus group discussion, child participation Activities and House to House data collection system.
