NEMA Provides Relief Materials to Victims of Bandit Attacks in Kirfi/Alkaleri Federal Constituency, Bauchi State

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), through its Gombe Operations Office, has distributed vital relief materials to individuals affected by recent bandit attacks in Kirfi/Alkaleri Federal Constituency of Bauchi State.

The intervention followed reports of violent assaults by suspected bandits in several communities, resulting in loss of lives, destruction of properties, and displacement of residents. In response, NEMA conducted a rapid needs assessment and swiftly mobilized to deliver assistance to the affected population.

The relief items, comprising food and essential household supplies, were provided to help ease the hardship faced by the victims and support them through the recovery process.

During the distribution exercise, the Head of NEMA’s Gombe Operations Office reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to delivering timely and effective humanitarian aid. He stressed the need for continued collaboration with state and local stakeholders to ensure efficient and targeted assistance.

NEMA expressed appreciation to the Bauchi State Government, community leaders, and security agencies for their support in ensuring the safe and successful distribution of the relief materials.
