NEMA/ADSEMA REPORT RECEDING WATER LEVELS IN YOLA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Yola Operations Office, in collaboration with the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), has jointly monitored water levels across key hydrological stations in Adamawa State.

Findings show a consistent recession.

1. Wuro Bokki: 6.67m, receding for over 48 hours.
2. Jimeta (Bakin Kogi): 5.88m, 3,041 m³/s discharge, receding.
3. Numan Bridge: 7.17m, receding gradually

The hydrological situation indicates a synchronized recession across all three stations, suggesting a temporary reduction in flood threats. However, both agencies emphasize the importance of continued vigilance due to possible changes from upstream inflows.

NEMA and ADSEMA will maintain joint monitoring and keep the public informed as the situation unfolds.
