National Emergency Management Agency organized a workshop to mark the 2014 International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. The United Nations General Assembly designated the Day to raise the profile of Disaster Risk Reduction and also encourage people and governments to participate in building more resilient communities. The theme for this year day is "Older People and Disasters-2014: Resilience is for Life"
