Officials of NEMA North East Zonal Office,Director General Borno state Emergency Management Agency BOSEMA, and other key stakeholders in Borno state visited Mainok Community, Kaga Local Government Area of Borno state to carry out on the spot assessment of flood as a result of flash flood that occured on 15th of July 2024. This led to destruction of many houses and properties worth millions of naira and resulted to displacement of affected persons who are now temporarily sheltered in GSS kaga. The joint team also visited the camp population, who were mostly women and children to sympathise with them and to assess their living condition to identify possible area of intervention.
