The Coordinating Minister of the Economy Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was in Maiduguri on Wednesday 18th June 2014 to go round the eight Internally Displaced people's camp set up by NEMA for victims of insurgents attacks.
NEMA has registered over 6000 people who fled to Maiduguri from Bama, Konduga and Gwoza L.G.As in Borno state .The minister was accompanied on the tour of IDP camps by th Director General National Emergency Management Agency NEMA Alh Muhammad Sani sidi and Borno State Governor Alh Kashim Shetima
