Director General National Emergency Management Agency Mrs Zubaida Umar yesterday received the UNOCHA Head of Nigeria Mr Trond Jensen who was at NEMA headquarters on a working visit.
Mr Jensen briefed the DG NEMA about the forthcoming launch of the Lean Season Food Security and Nutrition Crisis Multi Sector Plan for Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States.
He requested for the support and collaboration of NEMA in the areas of resource mobilization to implement the plan.
The DG NEMA and Mr Jensen together with Directors present discussed about other issues of common interest to NEMA and UNOCHA.
