The Director General NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed today was hosted by the Director General, National Office of Disaster Risk Management of Madagascar, His Excellency Elack Oliver Andriakaja at a bilateral meeting at the Madagascar Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
The DG NEMA and his team discussed issues of mutual support and collaboration with the Madagascar National Office of Disaster Risk Management. NEMA and NODRM of Madagascar agreed on opening up of a new vista on staff capacity building, sharing of experiences and the fostering of a lasting relationship on Emergency Preparedness, Response, Mitigation and Recovery between the two countries.
