NEMA is participating at the Desktop simulation Exercise organized by the 9 Brigade code name Exercise Ijo Erinmi from 25-29 Nov, 2024 at the Land Forces Simulation Centre Nigeria (LFSCN), Giri, Abuja.
The mission is for the 9 Brigade to conduct internal security with sister services and other security agencies to restore law and order in aid to civil authorities in Ikeja State.
The tasks of NEMA include
1. To coordinate and advice on all emergency matters
2. To work in conjunction with other agencies on IDPs and relief matters
3. Plan and manage emergency response and situation within own Area of Responsibility, and
4. To maintain synergy and liaison with the military and other security agencies.
