National Emergency Management Agency Kano Territorial Office today received the EXCOs of the NEMA/NYSC EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT VANGUARDS CDS group at the office Conference Hall.
The Visit was a positive initiative, aimed at fostering collaboration and community engagement by the EMVs in their areas of primary assignment
Furthermore, the Territorial Coordinator cited that the visit will allow the young volunteers to learn about disaster preparedness and response, while the agency benefits from their enthusiasm and support in raising awareness and implementing safety measures.
During the visit, Issues of training the corps members on Basic First Aid, Fire management and control as well as general disaster management were discussed so as to strengthen the Agency’s community outreach efforts in the face of potential disasters
