The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Abuja Operations Office (AOO) has trained and inaugurated members of the NYSC Emergency Management Vanguard Community Development Service (CDS) Group in FCT.
The training, facilitated by the Head of NEMA AOO, Mr. Zakari Abubakar, and his team, was aimed at educating corp members on administrative structure of NEMA and build their capacity to strengthen emergency management in their areas of primary assignment.
In his remarks, Mr. Abubakar appreciated the management of NYSC for the existing collaboration and encouraged the corp members to take the training seriously as they would be expected to support every emergency management effort in their localities. Lectures on the following topics were delivered to stimulate interaction and update the corp members on their roles as EMV:

*Basics of First Aid*
*Practical session*
The entire program was successful, marking a significant step in strengthening disaster management capabilities at the grassroot level.
