NEMA Ekiti Operations Office in collaboration with Ekiti SEMA and the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye conducted an on the spot assessment of rainstorm disaster that occured in Igbira community, Iworoko-Ekiti today 27th November 2023 to ascertain the extent of damage caused by the disaster.
It was discovered that the heavy rainfall of the evening of Sunday 26th November 2023 accompanied by heavy wind caused the damage.
