Sequel to a distress call from Adamawa State Emergency management Agency ( ADSEMA) about a communal clash that occurred in Salti Community in Numan LGA of Adamawa State,Information and preliminary findings gathered from ADSEMA, LEMC, Desk officer from the affected community are as follows * The communal clash occurred on the 10th of March,2024 and another one took place on the 12th of March, 2024.* Four (4) persons were reported to have been killed in the communal clash* Many Person’s where seriously injured and currently receiving treatment.* Number of cars burnt down —21* Number of motorcycles burnt down — 13* Estimated number of Houses burnt down — Not ascertained * Money and Valuable properties worth millions of Naira were catered away.* Estimated number of cattle missing —260* Number of cattle killed —20* Number of person’s missing –8 * Estimated number of person’s affected — 1,913.Some of the displaced Person’s are presently seeking refuge in some of the host communities around Numan LGA of Adamawa State.
