NEMA: FG Supports Banditry Attacks and Fuel Tanker Accident Victims in Kaduna State.

NEMA has distributed relief support to about 1000 affected Households of Armed Banditry Attacks and Fuel Tanker Accident in Kurmin Qira, Janjala and Jere Communities of Kagarko Local Government Area.

The Federal Government approved relief materials consists of food and non food items and was distributed to the beneficiaries in a separate exercise.

The Zonal Coordinator, Abbani Imam Garki, led a team consisting of NEMA NWZ staff and KADSEMA to the Kagarko Emirate for the Flag-off of the distribution with the presence of Makama and other Traditional leaders in the communities.

In the separate distribution exercise, 700 beneficiaries were for the banditry attacks while the other 300 households are those affected following a fuel tanker accident in the area.

The Zonal Coordinator extended NEMA DG’s sympathy and goodwill message to the victims and urged beneficiaries to make good use of the relief items distributed.

On the other hand, NEMA NWZ Head of Search and Rescue unit, Abdulkadir Mohammed led the other team to Jere Emirate and also delivered the DG’s message who commiserated with the people over the unfortunate incident, while praying that the Almighty avert the occurrence of such incidents.

The distribution exercise was concluded successfully.
