1.NEMA South West Zonal Office carried out assessment of a private jet conveying Minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu that crash-landed at Ibadan airport on Friday 3rd, November 2023.
2. The aircraft which departed Abuja for Ibadan with 7 people onboard including the minister was said to have crashed after touching ground about 120 miles away from the threshold.
3.It’s gathered that no live was lost as relevant agencies were able to salvage the situation.
4.The team led by Asst. Zonal Coordinator, Mr Olarewaju Kazeem who conducted the assessment, was taking round the scene of the accident by official of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
5.The team had earlier visited Manager of (FAAN) in his office Mr. Adedeji Afolabi Ojo who gave account of the incidence and thanked NEMA for the collaborative efforts.
