The Director General of National Emergency Management Agency Mustapha Habib Ahmed Tuesday 17th August 2021 received the Director of Development High Commission of the United Kingdom in Nigeria Dr Christopher Pycroft who visited NEMA hq in Abuja.
He was joined by Directors of the Agency, while Dr Pycroft was accompanied by Humanitarian Coordinator of the UK mission in Nigeria Ms Alexandria McClean.
The DG NEMA appreciated the Diplomat for the visit and requested the supports of the UK mission to facilitate more supports towards disaster management in Nigeria.
On his part, Dr Pycroft said the visit has afforded him the opportunity to know more about NEMA and it’s roles in disaster management.
The Director of Planning Research and Forecasting Alh Alhassan Nuhu made a presentation during the visit on Institutional Framework, Policies and Infrastructure for Disaster Management in Nigeria.
