In response to the tragic tanker explosion in Majia Town, Taura Local Government Area, Jigawa State, which resulted in significant loss of lives and injuries, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has swiftly provided medicaments, food, and non-food items to assist the affected individuals.
Representing the Director-General of NEMA, the Head of NEMA Kano Territorial Office (KTO) officially handed over the relief items to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State. The Governor was represented by Babangida Umar Gantsa, the Commissioner of Budget and Planning. The handover took place in the presence of the Executive Secretary of Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), officials from NEMA KTO, Jigawa SEMA, and personnel from the Jigawa State Ministry of Health.
